wood art round 2

This was a SUPER quick project that I did the other night (before watching The Bachelor, not gonna lie). I had a piece of wood already cut and stained -if you don’t happen to have one sitting around, which I would assume most people don’t, that is a pretty quick project too.  I cut painters tape in half with an exacto knife while it was still on the roll and then eyeballed the lines… not so perfect. I spray painted a few coats of white paint and once it was fully covered and still wet I peeled all of the tape off. Easy as that!

In the end I think it is a pretty effective piece. I am pretty excited to blend it into a shelf of framed art and photos to mix things up a little. Keep an eye out for the shelf makeover in the future!

The stain should provide some protection to the wood, it might be a good idea to spray a couple of coats of a clear coat over the entire piece to protect the wood.
